This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to supervise others in a range of activities required on infected premises (IP). The unit applies to individuals who have been appointed or engaged to undertake a role within an emergency disease or pest incursion response. They work autonomously, instruct, and monitor the work of others within a team. They use discretion and judgment in the selection, allocation and use of available resources. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
