Participate in an e-business supply chain

This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to participate in and develop e-business as part of value adding to a rural enterprise, accommodating a niche market or changed market access to a product. This unit applies to business managers or supervisors, who use an e-business supply chain and who are required to adjust production to meet the requirements of that supply chain. Those who work in this role take responsibility for their own work and provide and communicate solutions to a range of predictable and sometimes unpredictable problems. All work must be carried out to comply with organisational requirements, work health and safety legislation and codes, sustainability practices, and in consultation with the management team. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
