This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to identify the opportunities and risks involved in undertaking a carbon farming project for a given site/s. The unit applies to individual land owners, land managers or members of a community, or other entity, who assess the opportunities and feasibility of starting up, or taking part in, a land-based carbon farming project. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
