This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to plan a carbon farming project based on a land-based project method, to earn carbon credits through any carbon market. The unit applies to individuals who may own or manage land and who wish to participate in an emissions reduction or carbon farming project. The unit may also apply to carbon project advisers. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
