This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to prepare workplace procedures for the calibration of equipment used in the application of pest, weed and disease control chemicals and bio-agents. The unit applies to individuals who take responsibility for their own work and may provide direction to others. They provide and communicate solutions to a range of predictable and sometimes unpredictable problems. No occupational licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
