This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to inspect and carry out routine cleaning and maintenance of draining systems. The unit applies to individuals who maintain drainage systems under general supervision with limited autonomy and accountability. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
