This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to develop and implement irrigation drainage system construction procedures, coordinate, supervise and commission irrigation drainage system installation and supervise work area rehabilitation. The unit applies to individuals who apply specialised skills and knowledge in coordinating and supervising the installation of irrigation drainage systems and have responsibility for the output of others. This includes applying and communicating non-routine technical solutions to predictable and unpredictable problems. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
