This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to maintain wildlife habitats and refuges to protect desirable animal species from invasive species. The unit applies to individuals who work under supervision and exercise limited autonomy with some accountability for their own work. They undertake defined activities and work in a structured context. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
