This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to carry out basic ecological restoration works following a restoration plan and instructions. The unit applies to individuals engaged in conservation and land and water management programs and who undertake defined routine activities under supervision. They exercise limited autonomy within established and well known parameters, providing solutions to a limited range of predictable problems. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
