Plan river restoration works

This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to prepare a detailed plan for river restoration works, in consultation with the client and relevant consent authorities. This unit applies to individuals who work as restoration and rehabilitation project managers and who analyse information and exercise judgement to complete a range of advanced skilled activities demonstrating a deep knowledge in specific technical areas within land management. They have accountability for the work of others, and analyse, design and communicate solutions to a range of complex problems. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
