This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required for the development of a management plan covering the range of biodiversity present in a designated area. The unit applies to individuals who work in a conservation and land management role and who analyse information and exercise judgement to complete a range of advanced skilled activities demonstrating a deep knowledge in specific technical areas. They have accountability for the work of others and analyse, design and communicate solutions to a range of complex problems. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
