Learning Outcomes

This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to lay modular paving in landscape settings, including preparing for work, setting out paving area, ground preparation, laying bedding material and pavers, and cleaning up site. The unit applies to individuals who lay paving under general supervision with limited autonomy or accountability. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
