This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to monitor the supply of potable water for livestock from water storages and sources. The unit applies to individuals who work under general supervision and exercise limited autonomy with some accountability for their own work. They identify and provide solutions to a limited range of predictable problems. All work must be carried out to comply with workplace procedures, according to state/territory health and safety regulations, legislation and standards that apply to the workplace, and sustainability and biosecurity practices. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
