This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to prepare, operate and shut down fertigation equipment, and report fertigation activities, to deliver fertilisers using an irrigation system. The unit applies to individuals who operate fertigation equipment under broad direction, and take responsibility for their own work. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
