This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to work effectively with an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Community or organisation while demonstrating an awareness of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander identity, history and spirituality. All work is performed in consultation with local Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander People and according to local Community guidelines and cultural protocols. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication
