This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to report on places of potential cultural significance. This unit applies to those whose job role includes investigating and reporting on places of potential cultural significance in consultation with stakeholders and local Traditional Owners. A high level of cultural awareness and the need to observe cultural protocols are important parts of the process. On Country refers to the land, waterways and the sea. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
