This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to develop conservation strategies for cultural resources. This unit applies to those who develop conservation strategies and management policies for cultural resources as part of the overall park management and planning process. These individuals take responsibility for their own work and provide and communicate solutions to a range of predictable and sometimes unpredictable problems. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
