This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to develop processes to consult and communicate with stakeholders in order to recommend approaches for sustainable community and bioregional development. The delivery and assessment for this competency standard in an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander context must comply with Community protocols and guidelines and be supported by Elders and Custodians of Country. The unit applies to individuals who take responsibility for their own work and for the quality of the work of others. They use discretion and judgement in the selection, allocation and use of available resources. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
