This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to conduct routine visual inspections of park and recreational facilities to identify visible hazards and existing and potential risks. The unit applies to individuals who conduct visual inspections of park facilities under general supervision with limited autonomy or accountability. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
