Learning Outcomes

This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to plant horticultural crops in the annual, vegetable and flower growing industries, including preparing for crop planting, preparing site and plant material for planting and completing planting operations. The unit applies to individuals who plant horticultural crops under general supervision with limited autonomy or accountability. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
