This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to interpret and apply industry and workplace procedures and standards to daily work activities when working in the pest management sector. It requires the ability to identify and follow legislative and procedural requirements while under supervision. The unit applies to individuals working in a broad range of job contexts who undertake defined routine activities under supervision. They exercise limited autonomy within established and well known parameters, providing solutions to a limited range of predictable problems. No occupational licensing, legislative or certification requirements are known to apply to this unit at the time of publication.
