This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to establish turf by seed, sod or other methods. The unit applies to individuals who establish turf and undertake defined routine activities under supervision. They exercise limited autonomy within established and well-known parameters, providing solutions to a limited range of predictable problems No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
