This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to collect samples as part of a rural production or horticulture monitoring program or while conducting post-mortem examination of livestock or other animals. The unit applies to individuals who collect samples under broad direction, and take responsibility for their own work. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
