This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to select and adjust a bicycle to suit its rider. The unit involves gathering rider information and matching the bicycle to the rider’s ability and cycling requirements, adjusting the bicycle to fit, and completing workplace processes and documentation. The unit applies to those working in the bicycle retail, service and repair industry. No licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
