This unit describes the performance outcomes required to prepare and clean vehicles’ internal and external glass surfaces to remove visible dirt and grime. It involves preparing for the task, selecting and using cleaning products, cleaning glass surfaces to workplace standards, and completing workplace processes and documentation. It applies to those working in the automotive detailing industry. No licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
