This unit describes the performance outcomes required to wash vehicle body exteriors and clean door, hatch and boot openings. It involves preparing for the task, selecting and using cleaning equipment, cleaning and finishing products according to workplace instructions, and completing workplace processes and documentation. It applies to those working in the automotive detailing industry. No licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
