This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to rectify multi-layer and pearl paint faults on vehicle body components. This unit involves preparing for the task, selecting and using specialist tools and equipment, identifying and rectifying paint faults using multi-layer and pearl two-pack paint materials according to manufacturer specifications, and completing workplace processes and documentation.
