This unit describes the performance outcomes required to fabricate and fit covers for different marine applications. It involves preparing for the task, selecting and using specialist tools and equipment, selecting materials and checking their quality, following manufacturer and customer instructions, inspecting final work, and completing workplace processes and documentation. It applies to those working in the marine trimming industry. No licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
