This unit describes the performance outcomes required to fabricate and install canvas covers and products in automotive and marine components. It involves preparing for the task, selecting and using specialist tools and equipment, selecting materials and checking their quality, measuring and cutting canvas products, and completing workplace processes and documentation. It applies to those working in the automotive and marine trimming industry. No licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
