This unit of competency specifies the outcomes required to fabricate signs using acrylic sheets and metal framing. Fabricated signs are used for a range of purposes, including light boxes, point of sale product trays, monoliths, pylons and individual letters. The unit supports sign manufacturers who fabricate custom-made signs in response to client design requirements. No licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements apply to this unit of competency at the time of endorsement.
