This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to carry out work activities in an energy sector environment. It includes preparing, carrying out work activities in the energy sector and checking the quality of the work completed. Practice in the workplace and during training is also subject to regulations directly related to work health and safety (WHS)/occupational health and safety (OHS) and where applicable contracts of training, such as apprenticeships. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
