This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to interpret, produce and modify electrotechnology drawings. It includes interpreting circuit, wiring and mechanical diagrams, equipment and cable/connection schedules and manuals; producing and modifying a range of electrical drawings; and using computer drawing packages to produce and modify drawings. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
