This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to supervise a biodiversity monitoring program in a given area, and record and summarise findings. The unit applies to individuals who work as natural area managers and seek information on natural systems or areas. These individuals take limited responsibility in known or changing contexts within established guidelines. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements are known to apply to this unit at the time of publication.
