This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to plan, implement and monitor a propagation program for medicinal cannabis. It requires the ability to determine propagation requirements to develop the propagation plan, communicate plans and procedures to implement the program, and monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the program. The unit applies to individuals at the supervisory or managerial level and who are responsible for managing and monitoring propagation processes on a licensed medicinal cannabis production site. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
