This qualification reflects the role of individuals who work at the supervisory or managerial level in the cultivation and production sector of the medicinal cannabis industry. In this role, these individuals are responsible for ensuring workplace processes and operations comply with the legislative, regulatory and quality requirements of a controlled growing, licensed medicinal cannabis site. They also use their knowledge and skills to plan for future work activities, solve problems, and take responsibility for others. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

Packaging Rules
To achieve this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in: 15 units of competency: 6 core units plus 9 elective units. Elective units must ensure the integrity of the qualification’s Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome. The electives are to be chosen as follows: at least 5 units must be selected from the elective units listed below the remaining 4 units may be selected from the elective units listed below or any currently endorsed Training Package or accredited course.
