This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to prepare for, carry out and complete operational maintenance of machinery used in the agriculture, horticulture and land management sectors. The unit applies to individuals who undertake routine work under general supervision with limited autonomy and accountability when conducting machinery maintenance tasks. No occupational licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
