This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to identify and investigate non-compliances with pest legislation and act on non-compliance issues. The unit applies to individuals who take a lead role in implementing pest management procedures and work autonomously, instruct, and monitor the work of others within a team. They use discretion and judgment in the selection, allocation and use of available resources. Pest control legislation and regulations apply in all states and territories and must be adhered to. User are advised to check details with the relevant regulatory authority.
