This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to set out standard structures using specialised pegging and marking techniques, for erosion and sediment control earthworks. The unit applies to individuals who take responsibility for their own work and use discretion and judgement in the selection, allocation and use of available resources. This includes undertaking a range of routine and non-routine activities and work in known and changing contexts. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
