This unit of competency specifies the skills and knowledge required to place and fix reinforcement for concrete work as part of construction processes. It includes: planning and preparing for the work final preparation for placement placing and fixing reinforcement checking the reinforcement completing clean-up activities. It applies to concreters working as members of a team. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
