This unit introduces learners to a broad range of entry-level occupations across the energy sector, with a focus on researching career pathways and developing a personalised career profile. It supports the development of foundation and employability skills, preparing learners for further vocational training, apprenticeships, or employment in the energy sector. On completion of this unit, learners will be able to demonstrate basic knowledge of energy sector industries, entry-level occupations, career pathways and factors that influence employment and training opportunities. They will have the skills to research and interpret occupational information, compare energy sector entry-level occupations, develop a personalised career profile and communicate information using appropriate energy sector terminology.
