This is a qualification for installers of prefabricated concrete elements. It includes knowledge of compliance and safety requirements. This work must be undertaken alongside licensed crane and/or rigging operators. Installation processes and procedures are determined by an Erection Engineer. Occupational titles include: installer grouter caulker patcher. This qualification has core unit of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry, as well as a specialist field of work in prefabricated concrete element installation. The construction industry strongly affirms that training and assessment leading to recognition of skills must be undertaken in an actual workplace or a simulated workplace using realistic conditions, materials, activities, responsibilities, procedures, safety requirements and environmental considerations. Packaging Rules

To achieve this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in: 16 units of competency: 11 core units 5 elective units. The elective units must ensure the integrity of the Australian Qualification Framework ( AQF ) alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome and are to be chosen as follows: For the elective units: 4 elective units must be chosen from electives listed below 1 unit may be chosen from the elective units listed below, or from any relevant nationally endorsed Training Package or accredited course.
