This qualification describes the skills and knowledge for landscape designer job roles in the landscape industry. Individuals with this qualification will take personal responsibility and exercise autonomy in undertaking complex work. They analyse information and exercise judgement to complete a range of advanced skilled activities. Work must comply with work health and safety and environmental regulations and legislation that apply to the workplace. State/territory licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply in some jurisdiction. Users are advised to check with the relevant regulatory authority.

Packaging Rules
To achieve this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in: 12 units of competency: 6 core units plus 6 elective units. Elective units must ensure the integrity of the qualification’s Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome.
