This qualification is designed for occupational outcomes of individuals who work as permaculture project managers, in a leadership capacity for organisations, groups or enterprises, requiring a whole system approach to planning, designing, managing and implementing integrated permaculture projects and programs, for permaculture communities or enterprises. In this role they take personal responsibility and exercise autonomy when undertaking tasks and are required to analyse information and employ critical thinking to manage permaculture projects in varied community settings. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

Packaging Rules
To achieve this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in: 12 units of competency: 4 core units plus 8 elective units. Elective units must ensure the integrity of the qualification’s Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome. The electives are to be chosen as follows: at least 4 units must be selected from electives in Group A up to 2 units from electives in Group A or B remaining 2 units may be selected from Group B or from any other currently endorsed Training Package or accredited course.
